Professional Fishing Guide David Swenson is a proven veteran when it comes to fishing Lake Vermilion. He has a reputation of producing big fish year after year. This was backed up in 2006 when Dave and his partner, Jim Roerig, won the Professional Muskie Tournament Trail Fall Show Down on Lake Vermilion. His experience comes from hard work and lots of time on the water. One thing you notice when you are out with Dave, he works hard for you. His dedication shows not only in his guiding, but also in his life. Dave has Bachelors Degree from Bemidji State University and works as a Social Worker. He served his country in the United States Army Honor Guard in Washington, D.C. and is an active member of the Cotton Volunteer Fire Department.
